Pousada Cabana is located in “Rua das Dunas” (Sandune Street), one of the most peaceful and restful in Jeri. It's a very short walk from the sunset dune “Duna Por-do-Sol”. In a few minutes by foot one can reach the beaches of Jeri and the numerous restaurants and shops.
HOW TO REACH JERI
Jericoacoara is situated some 300 km from Fortaleza, the Capital of the Federal State of Cearà. For the trip from the airport to the Pousada it is easy to organize a transfer by a 4x4 jeep. Prices vary according to the season. Trip takes 4 hours by road and offroad (last portion) in total some 300 km. It is also possible to follow a track along the coast from Fortaleza, but the trip then takes some 7 hours. One can also take a regular bus service; it is much cheaper, but much longer. Moreover the bus takes you to a nearby town just outside the National park from where you need to take a buggy or a pickup truck for the last 23 km across the dunes.
